If you’re struggling, you’re not alone. You might be looking for a therapist because you want to figure out a way to make the pain go away. Perhaps, you want to connect more deeply in your relationships. We are here to help and we’ve helped many people just like you. Relationships are hard. It’s even harder if you never witnessed healthy ways of communication. As humans, we are creatures of habit and we tend to repeat the same patterns and create similar relationships to our caregivers.

As a first generation American or an immigrant, there is likely an added layer of shame that comes with admitting you need help. You are taught to keep problems within the family and to be strong, courageous, and face them. At Space to Reflect, we are a team of therapists who understand that asking for help can be hard and intimidating and we prioritize culturally sensitive mental health services.
